Kwasen is a new 40-acre multi-family development in Burnaby, BC, built on the connectivity and values of the xʷməθkʷəýəm (Musqueam) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. Taymor provided a curated solution for the project with complete coordinating architectural hardwares - one cohesive finish carried across suite entries, interior doors, bath, and common areas, simplifying decision making without compromising on quality.

Taymor Brings the Final Touch to Kwasen Village in Burnaby
Burnaby's Kwasen Village is shaping up to be one of Metro Vancouver's most significant developments - and one of its most meaningful. Led by the Musqueam Indian Band and Tsleil-Waututh Nation in partnership with Aquilini Development, it's the first Indigenous-owned development project in Burnaby's history, taking its name from kʷasən, the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ word for star.
Spanning 40 acres at Willingdon Avenue and Canada Way, the master-planned community will eventually bring over 5,000 homes, commercial space, and a film production studio to West Burnaby - built out over a 20+ year timeline. Phase One alone delivers 622 homes across three buildings, including Tower One, with interiors by award-winning CHIL Interior Design.
Taymor is proud to be part of bringing this landmark project to life
